Leonard Sheil

Leonard is an experienced Operations and Program Manager with over 25 years experience managing Engineering Operations and large Pharmaceutical Capital projects across multiple sites. This experience was gained working for GlaxoSmithKline as Regional Engineering Director for the API small molecule primary and the Middle East and North Africa manufacturing networks. Earlier in his career Leonard was the Engineering Director for the Genzyme Waterford manufacturing facility during the startup phase and prior to that worked in Operations, Technical and as a Capital Project Manager. Leonard’s approach to Program Management is business focused and comes from the perspective of the end user with all elements of the Program focused with the operating facility in  mind. He places emphasis on the importance of early Program phase development as the key enabler of a successful outcome. Leonard is a Chemical Engineer and has a MBA qualification.
